CUSTOMER CARE

We understand the importance of finding your dream wedding dress! THE PRETTY BRIDES offer beautiful and affordable Designer wedding dresses at affordable prices for online purchasing only.

Check out our Styling Tips if you require some guidance on shapes and ideas or pop a visit to the Designers Instagram accounts for some inspiration. 

We also offer a 14 day Return Policy for added peace of mind. 

Cancellations are accepted after placing an order and valid up until dispatch.

All purchases will be posted with a FREE Bridal Gown Cover and a FREE Bridal Hanger.

SIZES

The Pretty Brides order wedding dress sizes in accordance to the Designers Size Charts. Bridal Dresses are typically in sizes according to three main measurements: Bust, Waist and Hips.  

Lengths are standard (except for custom). The customer understands there maybe up to a 1cm variation in the measurements compared to the size chart.

In-Stock and Special Order dresses and any accessories are in STANDARD SIZE not made to measure. Therefore they will not be a perfect fit and will require alterations. 

 

The customer agrees that they are aware of this and THE PRETTY BRIDES is not responsible in offering perfect fitting dresses or alterations and that the customer will need to make their own private enquiries to locate a suitable qualified seamstress/tailor. It is the customers responsibility to check any changes/alterations/modifications or anything else can be customised to their liking as THE PRETTY BRIDES is not eligible or responsible to offer any sort of refund or exchange after the 14 day Return Policy.

The customer is fully responsible for ordering the correct size and colour. The customer agrees and understands that changes to the size/colour/style are not possible after placing the order and exchanges are not possible once we have placed their order. 

 

The Pretty Brides cannot offer advice on sizes as we will not be performing the alterations. The customer should seek advice from a qualified seamstress/tailor to check their measurements against the size charts and discuss any modifications they wish to have.  

The Designer may set a maximum size in which a product can be made, or incur a further charge for plus sizes due to the extra fabric, and THE PRETTY BRIDES cannot guarantee that a product will be available in a particular size or price.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Upon a request from a customer to order a product, THE PRETTY BRIDES will make necessary enquiries with the Designers to check their availability of the product and estimated time scale. THE PRETTY BRIDES will notify the customer of the above prior to any invoice being submitted. 

 

Only 1 Dress order is permitted per customer. Due to the re-stocking fees that THE PRETTY BRIDES incurs as a result of cancellations and returns, unfortunately it is only viable for us to accept 1 order per customer, including all future orders.

The customer understands and agrees that The Pretty Brides reserve the right to cancel further orders if we suspect it be from an existing or past customer or may cancel any order for any reason. 

The customers receipt of an invoice or any other confirmation does not signify our acceptance of their order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The Pretty Brides reserves the right at any time after receipt of an order to accept or decline the customers order for any reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded using the method received.

The customer agrees and understands that THE PRETTY BRIDES may cancel any order placed or paid for. The customer agrees they are not eligible to claim for damage or compensation in these circumstances. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations are valid up until 14 days after delivery of the customers product(s).

Any initial order placed by a customer that has not been paid for within the 14 day invoice period will automatically result in a cancellation. 

The customer can initiate order cancellation by sending an e-mail to the following address: sales@theprettybrides.co.uk stating their name, invoice details and their wish to cancel.

We will reply with an authorisation to this effect and allow up to 10 days for a full refund. If the product(s) have been dispatched and the customer is proceeding with a return, they must adhere to our 'Returns Policy' and allow 14 days for a full refund upon us receiving the product(s).

Do not attempt to cancel by phone - email is the only accepted method. 

THE PRETTY BRIDES also reserves the right to cancel an order that we have accepted where circumstances occur that will not allow us to deliver the product to you in the agreed period and/or with the required characteristics and/or quality. 

In this case we will notify you by email and promptly refund the full amount of the paid purchase price. You may not claim any damages or costs in these circumstances

TIMESCALES & DELAYS

DELAYS

All orders placed are imported by The Pretty Brides from the Designers Warehouses, which are globally based. Therefore, all dresses are subject to UK custom and import procedures prior to being received by us. The Pretty Brides covers all custom and import charges so our customers do not incur any added fees, however, due to the nature of imports occasionally there are sporadic custom checks in the UK which can cause lengthy delays that are out of our control. 

* The Pretty Brides cannot be held liable in the event there are external delays by UK Customs & Clearance. We always endeavour to assist customs as quickly as possible to ensure prompt delivery but sometimes this is out of our control. We will notify customers should there be unexpected delays.

 

Designers estimated delivery times are tentative and subject to change according to their production schedule. Designers cannot guarantee their delivery dates and may change delivery dates at their discretion and without advance notice. The delivery timescales set are ESTIMATED only. In some circumstances, products may arrive a lot quicker but could also encounter delays. 

The customer agrees and understands that shipping dates by us on behalf of the Designers are estimated only and not guaranteed. THE PRETTY BRIDES will not compensate or be held liable for any delays. This does not affect the customers statutory rights. 

 

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMESCALES ON IN-STOCK DRESSES:

Standard Shipping £35 (4-8+ weeks) 

Express Shipping   £65 (2-4 weeks)

Exceptions to refunds on postage: Whereby a customer has paid for express shipping but the product takes longer than 5 weeks due to *Designers shipping errors (custom delays excluded) THE PRETTY BRIDES may use their discretion to accommodate requests for a £30 refund credited to the customers account to align the postage charge to 'Standard' shipping. Contact sales@theprettybrides.co.uk for a request.

PRICING & PRODUCTS

Prices advertised are reflective for 'in-stock' products up to size 46. THE PRETTY BRIDES makes no guarantee that a product is available and all product enquires will be subject to checks with the Designers.

Special Orders and Plus-Size orders may encounter additional fees. The customer will be notified of any additional fees that may be applicable on their received invoice prior to any payment. 

Prices are subject to change without notice at any time. The Pretty Brides reserves all rights over the pricing and discounts offered on all products. All pricing is in GBP. 

We will not be liable to you or to any third-party for any loss resulting from any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of any product or the Site.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product or the Site, or any part or content thereof, without notice at any time.

COLOURS & FABRICS

Colours may vary between those indicated on the Site and the actual fabric received by the Designer. Designer imagery is subject to filters and colour enhancements therefore may not look exactly the same as the product image, although it is the same product. 

We do not offer colour or fabric swatches of the products. We do not offer in-stock imagery due to the products being held at the Designers warehouses and do not offer any form of service relating to colour and fabric. 

The customer agrees and understands that the colours and fabrics used on the imagery may not exactly match the original product. 

INVOICES & PAYMENTS

 IN-STOCK PRODUCTS

The customer will receive an invoice amounting to 100% + postage fee via an automated invoice. Payment is required within 14 days. If the customer has changed their mind, they must contact us expressing to cancel their order as soon as possible.

Failure to pay within 14 days will result in a cancelled order. 

The customer understands that THE PRETTY BRIDES cannot reserve your order until full payment has been made. We advise that if the customer has left the invoice unpaid for a period of time, to contact us so that we may advise if the product is still in stock.

If the product becomes out of stock, the order will be cancelled and a full refund will be allocated to the customers account unless the customer wishes to place a Special Order on the product. If the stock order is changed to a Special Order, the customer has the option to pay via the 50/50 method (please see below for 'Special Order' products). The quote for the product is eligible to change if reverted to a Special Order. Please see below for further details. 

  

Refunds to accounts may take up to 10 days for cancelled orders

SPECIAL ORDERS 

The customer will receive an invoice amounting to fifty percent (50%) of the order cost. This deposit is required when placing the order and the remainder balance of 50% + POSTAGE is due within 14 days after the customer has been notified that the product is ready to be shipped. The order will not be shipped until the balance is paid in full.

 

 THE PRETTY BRIDES is not responsible for any delays in delivery due to non-payment. If the full payment is not received, or the Gown is left unclaimed in THE PRETTY BRIDES possession for a period of 60 days following notification of arrival, the product(s) will become property of THE PRETTY BRIDES and no payments will be refunded.

THE PRETTY BRIDES offers UK Shipping via a Tracked & Insured Service requiring a signature by the customer at the customers stated delivery address which must be a residential address (no business or PO Box numbers) and matches the card address.  

 

In-Stock and Special Orders: Standard Shipping £35 

In-Stock orders only: Express Shipping £65

Saturday Shipping: £45 

 

The customer will receive notification via email that we are ready to dispatch the product. It is the customers responsibility to inform us if they will not be available to accept the delivery or have any special requests. Should the customer have special requests for postage, THE PRETTY BRIDES will make enquiries with the couriers on their behalf but we offer no guarantees these will be accepted by us. Any extra charges to postage incurred as result of special requests will be billed to the customer. 

The courier company may still delay your parcel for any reason for any paid service (including special requests) and therefore THE PRETTY BRIDES cannot offer guaranteed delivery dates. We will not be held liable for postage delays and the customer is not entitled to claim for loss, damages or compensation.  


THE PRETTY BRIDES will not be held liable if the parcel gets damaged or lost due to the customer changing or rearranging the postal arrangements. These include (and not limited to) requesting it goes to a neighbour, changing the address to another than the submitted delivery address, leaving the parcel in a porch or any other area whereby it has not been signed for by the customer themselves and taken into a safe and secure area at the residential property.  


FAILED DELIVERY

THE PRETTY BRIDES is not responsible for ensuring the customer is at the property to sign for the delivery. If the courier's attempts have failed, the product(s) will be returned to us. The customer will receive notification from us in relation to any failed delivery attempts. The customer will be charged £35 to rebook a failed delivery. 

The customers rights to a refund are the same as those in our return policy and on the failed delivery, THE PRETTY BRIDES will submit the refund within 10 days of the customer notifying us they wish to apply for a return if the product is back in our possession.  
THE PRETTY BRIDES is under no obligation to rebook the delivery without receiving a rebook charge nor allow the service to be used again by the customer due to financial loss and repercussions that are caused to the Business.  

 

DAMAGED PRODUCT AS A RESULT OF SHIPPING

 

If the product is received directly from the courier to the customer damaged as a result of transport, please contact us immediately via sales@theprettybrides.co.uk. Please take photos of the damage and submit them alongside your email so that we may investigate further. 
 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBLITIES TO RETURN A PRODUCT

On Arrival of Garment:

Upon arrival of a product(s), the customer agrees to check the product thoroughly to ensure it is of the standard and quality they are happy with. 

*Colour/Size/Fabric is not deemed faulty if we have ordered it correctly. The Designer imagery is subject to filters/enhancements/edits/models/full alterations therefore may not look exactly the same as the image, but will be the same product. 

The customer agrees and understands the above.

For 'In-Stock' and 'Special Orders' the customers should expect the dress to be in "New" condition but will require a steam due to packaging. Should the customer notice any defects or if it is the incorrect size/product that was ordered, please notify THE PRETTY BRIDES via sales@theprettybrides.co.uk immediately and refer to "Faulty Goods" at the Bottom.

For 'Customer Returns' and 'Sample Stock' the customer should expect, and agrees to the garment having previously been tried on and therefore may have some minor flaws consistent to previous use. Flaws may include (and not limited to) 

  • Loose threads

  • Loose beads

  • Minor marks

  • Zip replacement required

All 'Customer Returns' and 'Sample Stock' are discounted to reflect that they have been tried on and not in 'New' condition. As the product is deemed 'used' and sold with flaws, the customer is not entitled to use our Faulty Goods Policy to return the product and will be responsible for return postage costs. 

The customer agrees and understands that they are not purchasing a new product and may need to factor in extra minor costs for simple fixes. 

All products from our 'Customer Returns' and 'Sample Stock' are offered a 14 day Return Policy. Should the customer not wish to keep the product(s) they must adhere to our full Returns Policy. 

Trying the Garment on:

The customer agrees to try-on any products with no make-up, fake tan, moisturiser, perfume, shoes, fake nails, hair products or anything else that could lead to marks/damage/smells (the customer may not be eligible for a refund if the garment is not returned in the exact same condition - see "Return Exceptions" below) and the customer agrees to ensure they are in a clean and hazard-free environment to limit the risk of damage that they would be held liable for. 

 

After trying the garment on, replace it straight back into its packaging without altering, washing the dress, or removing its tags.

Returning the Garment:

In the event the customer changes their mind regarding the purchase, they have the right to return the product if it is in its original condition, with tags and the original packaging (full exclusions to refunds -see bottom of page). 

The Customer must notify us via email only to sales@theprettybrides.co.uk about the return as soon as possible, within 14 days of receipt of the product(s). 

The customer will be sent a reply within 72hrs with an 'authorising of the return' of the garment on the confirmation that the customer will adhere to the return shipping conditions (see below)

All sales are deemed final if we have not received this email requesting a return within 14 days of delivery without exception. 

Items returned without authorisation from THE PRETTY BRIDES are refused and sent back to the sender. The customer MUST contact us expressing they wish to return the product(s) so the appropriate process is adhered too.

 

Shipping the Garment back and costs involved:

Once the customer has notified us they wish to return the garment and an authorisation has been received from us, it is advised the customer arranges return postage as soon as possible - the longer the garment is at the customers address the higher the chance of damage or loss occurring, which could result in losing a right to a refund. 

The customer must email us with the tracking number and courier details once the return has been booked.

 

The customer will be expected to cover the return postage fee if they have changed their mind. Due to the value of the garment it is worth noting that the postage cost will be far more expensive than 'normal' returns due to the added insurance value. 

The dress should be returned exactly how it arrived - with the gown cover, bridal box & postal box along with any added accessories. Failing to use the original packaging could result in poor packaging materials that may lead to damage to the dress, which could result in a cancelled refund. 

The customer MUST use a Tracked and Fully Insured Service, and returned to us within 14 days of notifying us they wish to return the garment. Failure to return the product(s) within 14 days of notifying us will result in a decline of a refund without exceptions.

The customer is advised to use a reputable postal service as if the above is not complied with and the parcel is subsequently lost/damaged THE PRETTY BRIDES will not be held responsible to offer a refund. 

 

Refunds Of Payment:

The refund totalling the price of the garment + original delivery postage will only be submitted upon us receiving the garment back within 14 days and that the garment has been inspected and deemed at the same quality level it was on dispatch of order. If those two criteria are met the customer can expect a refund within 14 days of us receiving the garment.

FAULTY GOODS: 

Should a new product arrive with faults on the dress, the customer agrees to take pictures of the faults and send them to us via email, along with a description of the faults encountered. 

On approval, our customer service team will process a scheduled collection, paid for by us. Collection is between 8am - 6pm. We will confirm a collection day with the customer. Should the customer continually refuse date options within the 30 day period, we may cancel the refund process. 

 

EXCLUSIONS TO REFUNDS

Conditions*

  • No products purchased from THE PRETTY BRIDES are eligible for a refund after 14 days of receipt of delivery with no exceptions. 

  • Exchanges are not offered by THE PRETTY BRIDES

  • Returns are only accepted if our Returns & Shipping Policy are fully complied with within the timescales stated. 

  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, unmarked and with the original tags attached in its original condition and packaging it was received in. We cannot process the return and refund otherwise.

  • CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT WEAR MAKE-UP, FAKE TAN, MOISTURISER, PERFUME, SHOES, FAKE NAILS OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT WHILST TRYING THE DRESS ON as this could lead to damage and on those grounds a refund may be refused.

 

We will notify the customer within 14 days of us receiving the return and should the garment meet the exclusion criteria above, we will outline our evidence why the garment has now been de-valued and not fit for re-sale at its original price. Should the garment appear worn, or have damage that devalues the garment considerably, we may refuse the refund. The customer is entitled to have the garment sent back to them if the refund is refused.

Website owner, the offering, and binding of Terms

This website is owned and operated by THE PRETTY BRIDES via Wix.com. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors a catalogue to our business and online shopping facilities and services. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

Key commercial Terms offered to customers

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing, Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

 

The Pretty Brides is an online e-commerce store only. All prices advertised and conditions set out within the T&C's for 'THE PRETTY BRIDES' are reflective to online purchasing ONLY. We do not offer any in-store services. 

The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website and are for online purchasing only. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.
 

Ownership of intellectual property, copyrights and logos


The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of THE PRETTY BRIDES or affiliated businesses.  Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.


You recognize and agree that by uploading any content (including, but not limited to designs, images, animations, videos, audio files, fonts, logos, illustrations, compositions, artworks, interfaces, text and literary works) through any means to the website, you confirm that you own all the relevant rights or received the appropriate license to upload/transfer/send the content. You agree and consent that the uploaded/transferred content may be publicly displayed at the website.

 

Right to suspend or cancel user account
We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time. 

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold THE PRETTY BRIDES harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall THE PRETTY BRIDES, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, THE PRETTY BRIDES assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorised access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

Right to change and modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

Promotional emails and content

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time. 

Preference of law and dispute resolution

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of  the United Kingdom, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in  the United Kingdom. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.
